INTRODUCTION TO SANSKRIT WORKSHOP

Sanskrit is an ancient Indo-European language of South Asia, in which many religious scriptures and classical epic poems are written. This class will include an introduction to the historical context and philosophy of the Sanskrit language, some mantra chanting and a basic lesson on the alphabet and script.
