i extend the deepest respect and acknowledgement to the Cammeraygal, Gadigal and Bidjigal peoples of the Eora nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which i live and work. i recognise their ongoing connection to this land, its waters, and communities, and that sovereignty over these lands was never ceded.

i would like to recognise the caste power structures inherent within sanskrit and yoga; that brahminical patriarchy has, and continues to, marginalise and exclude caste-oppressed communities in south asia and across the globe.
